Alright, so as you can see, DoRoyal’s been reviewed moderately poorly over the last two years. It’s to the point where many of our customers are accusing us of buying reviews (which we will never do, nor have we ever done this in the past)
That’s ultimately why this page exists. See, we wanted to try and set the record straight, and make sure there’s absolutely no confusion over our reviews, our current TrustPilot score, and our internal policies. Plus, it’s just a good idea to have a page like this in general, so that our potential customers can see what our current customers have to say about us.
Frequently Asked Questions
Back in 2023, we suffered through a significant Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack that took our entire hosting network down multiple times per day for nearly two years.
Despite our best efforts — and the best efforts of our mitigation provider and datacenter — we couldn’t fix it. This caused repeated service disruptions, and understandably, many customers were frustrated.
More recently, we also faced issues with our domain registration partner, which forced us to migrate to an entirely new registrar.
Combined, these problems severely overloaded our support system, resulting in long response delays.
Long story short: we deserve our current Trustpilot score. We failed to deliver the level of service our customers expected from us.
We moved datacenters, deployed new servers, partnered with Automattic, and focused on restoring the reliability that defined DoRoyal for over a decade.
While some of these changes are new, the philosophy behind them isn’t. Improving our services has always been part of who we are.
So what are we doing to fix things?
We’re just going to keep hosting. Doing what made DoRoyal great in the first place — what many customers still remember as “the good ol’ days.”
We’ve seen speculation online about companies paying for reviews, but DoRoyal has never purchased reviews, and we never will.
Our philosophy is built on transparency and honesty. That means showing the good, the bad, and the ugly — because customers deserve the full picture.
While some competitors may inflate ratings artificially, we believe authentic feedback is the only way to improve and maintain trust.
Every review you see on Trustpilot or HostAdvice is genuine, written by real customers sharing real experiences.
